Instinctive Trekking Poles

Today life brewed me
I wished to rise over all
Expanding all hope

Tonight silence is
All you can hear about me
As my aura chills

Rising above bumpy terrains
Everything possible
Four poles trailing my journey

True North your cold side
No more fears
True South unspeakable dreams

Walk me through East
Feeling your warm rays
Rely on intuitions

Follow me through West
Push away hesitations
Aspiration appears

Instinctive trekking poles
Follow shooting stars
Swaying darkness

Sky separation
Golden rays forcing the light
Infinite love waves

Seeing what others don’t see
Observing the details most don’t observe
Noticing the spot they don’t notice
Visioning the emotions that have no vision
Presenting the colors of the present
Exchanging the outliers of an exchange
Listening to the words that you listen
Extracting the minimum of an extract
Occulting the virus of the occult
Reading the signs not read
Focusing the lines of the focus
Foreseeing the life of the foresee

Pace your body to freedom
Freedom sparks your soul
Soul searching is a lifetime quest

Quest for new surprises
Surprises in our relationships
Relationships not always easy

Easy to hurt and regret our acts
Acts caused by our stubbornness
Stubbornness to protect our egos

Egos thinking we are interested
Interested in simple things in life
Life of sequential happiness

Happiness of little positive events
Events waking our naivety
Naivety of our inner beliefs

Beliefs of a world that will shine
Shine in your confidence is key
Key to sharing your ray of sunshine

Sunshine will shine against all odds
Odds towards continual expression
Expression of deep soul pacing

SPIRITUAL TREE PROMPT ‘Void’

Tomorrow Is My Only Hope

Growing up, my parents, mainly my dad, chose to raise my brothers and I under a highly constrained regime filled with fear. I wanted for so long to be free, to have absolutely nothing and no one to limit me.

Last year I lost my last link to a typical life in this world. My job position was cut. I lost my dad two years ago. The year before I lost my soulmate of 28 years.

My days now float on in an automatic mode. I try to not consciously think too much ahead as to what lies in front of me. …

Visual Crush

You entered, you looked, and you picked me, returning home with your newly found treasure. On a high, you looked at me over and over, turning me around, back and forth, viewing me from all angles. You took photos of me and posted them on your Facebook profile, showing off your new found love to all your friends. You placed me within view, but still in a secure place. This was the best day of my life.

Getting up the next day, the first thing you did was run to me, taking me in your arms and smiling proudly, then slowly placed me back on the shelf. As the days went by you slowly began to ignore me, leaving me to pass the day on a shelf with less and less attention. …
