For me spinning is done only during the cold winter months. Motivated by a free app SpinfullyA (replacing the teacher). Easier during the cold and humid months. Four different positions, sitting, standing, running and sprinting. Various speeds and tensions. Maybe not 100% equivalent to outdoor cycling panorama wise but 1-hour a day spinning 6 times a week is great during the long dull winter months.
