Music Voices — Publication Sections
Assigning the right tags (2019–10–01)
After just one-day up on Medium, we received many suggestions for our Music Voices publication. Right away, we decided to work a better structure to manage your pieces.
NEWS section will be the editors reserved section to publish anything new for our writers, readers and followers.
ARTISTS & INFLUENCES section is to write about your feelings and experiences about artists, influences, musicians and music history.
ARTISTS & INFLUENCES contains four tags:
Artists & Influences = Artist
Musicians = Musicians
Music History = Music History
ORIGINAL MUSIC POETRY section is to receive free style original poetry based on any type of music theme
ORIGINAL MUSIC POETRY contains two tags:
= Haiku and Poetry
RIFFS & SONGWRITING section is any writing on riffs, techniques, song writing and lyrics
RIFFS & SONGWRITING contains three tags:
Riffs = Guitar
Song Writing = Songwriting
Lyrics = Lyrics
SHARE NEW MUSIC section if for when you discovered new unknown music and need to share with us, this is the place. Worldwide languages, indie or garage bands, any genres (rock, metal, alternative, folk, pop, jazz, blues, reggae, world)
SHARE NEW MUSIC contains three tags:
New Music = New Music
Indie = Indie
Discover Music = Discover Music
For this section we might also add in the future the tag Garage Band/Group.
Finally, for the SERENITY SUN DAYS by our editor LB section corresponds to his own living, breathing writing inspired by music and daylight. So this section will only contain his writing.
Note some of these sections are empty for now because we need to receive the above mentioned themes to start filling them in.
Music Voices publication has listened to their fans and is ready to receive and manage their pieces.
Please always add ‘Music Voices’ and ‘Music’ tags to your submitted drafts to Music Voices publication.
Respect all artists and pay tribute to their work by carefully adding their names for any musical reference (i.e. songwriters, musicians, music labels, music art, posters, clips, etc.)
